You guys, it’s happening!!!!!
No one tells you that when you write your first book and you see it all official-looking for the first time you will ugly cry with joy and then lie wide awake all night from the sheer adrenaline of it all.
But if you’re me, that’s EXACTLY what happens.
You guys, I wrote a book. It’s called Uncluttered and it’s the story of finding and walking in the freedom God offers, unencumbered by stuff and stress. It officially launches February 1, 2019 but it’s also already out there to preorder. You can find it here on Amazon or here at Christian Book Distributors. (Though, to be honest, I keep waiting for the links to disappear because surely this is just the best kind of dream and I’m about to wake up, right?!?!?!?!)
For anyone dreaming a creative dream you fear will never come true, keep at it. I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil and pitching to publishers since I graduated from high school.
It’s been a long road and sometimes a lonely one. Discouragement is always ready to take root. Imposter syndrome is real. If I’d have kept every rejection letter I received I could wallpaper a city block.
Yet here it is. Live and on the Interwebs. Soon to be live and in print.
Whoa.
God is good, friends. Faithful writing groups and honest editors and encouraging friends and spouses and family members are gold.
