Dear friends,

No big blog post today, just a simple word of love and thanks.

As I reflect on the past year, I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the gift it’s been to reach and get to know so many of you through this blog.

I write this blog for you, friends, but I also write it for me. Writing brings me joy, it helps me see Jesus more clearly, it reminds me of what is good and true and beautiful and necessary and important.

So thank you for reading. Thank you for commenting and sharing and laughing and learning with me. Thank you for being on this journey with me.

Thank you to all who wrote beautiful Advent devotionals, and all who read them.

And thank you to Jesus, for the gift of Advent and the promise that he will return one day to make all things right.
