Today’s the day! Can you hear the book launching like a rocket? KRACHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
[I am such a dork. But seriously – when you labor over something for so many years, watching it fly brings a tear to the eye and unlimited permission to be dorky about it, amirite?]
At long last, the story of how God reached down into my mess and taught me a simpler, better path is living out on bookshelves around the country and around the world (I see you, China, Czech, Germany, and Canada!).
It’s a dream come true for me, and not just because I love books (though I do). It’s a dream come true because living the story of Uncluttered transformed my life, and I’m already hearing stories about how it’s helping others delve deeper into the virtue of simplicity, find God in Sabbath, and free themselves from the clutches of clutter.
From a reader in Florida: “Decision fatigue has been my nemesis for decades and I never had a name for it. All that to say, LOVED your book.”
From a reader in Europe: “I’m cleaning differently (going ahead and throwing away those things I’d usually keep “just in case”), buying differently (as in, NOT!) and thinking differently about Sabbath (just yesterday took the day “off” as a Sabbath with my husband and was so refreshed for church and ministry today because of it!).”
From a reader in California: “I found my word of the year for 2019! Hooray for Uncluttered!”
From a reader in Missouri: “You inspired our January sermon series, and our small groups are all reading Uncluttered!”
Uncluttered is available in paperback from Amazon or Christian Book. (It’s available on Audiobook, digital download, and soon Kindle, too!)
And if you’re local, join us at my church on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3 from noon-1pm for a book signing where you can purchase one up in person. All profits from that event will go to our church’s work with victims of the recent California fires–a cause near and dear to our congregation and to me.
If you want to read Uncluttered with your small group or church, or enter more fully into some of its devotional practices on your own, there’s a free study guide available to download on Monday. (I’ll update this post with the link when it’s live!)

Beyond grateful for you, dear readers. Thanks for being on this journey with me.
Peace, love, and all the uncluttering,
If you’ve read Uncluttered, would you consider leaving a review? It can be particularly tricky for books written by first-time authors to have good visibility, so reviews are super important. Each one is a digital way of saying, “Hey everybody! This book exists and I liked it!” You can write a review wherever you purchased the book (Amazon, Christian Book) or on Goodreads here.
